Our kitchen is opened daily from 12.00 – 21.30 hours

 

STARTERS à €  9,50

Carpaccio Willibrordhaeghe; carpaccio of beef with cream cheese
and tarragon, a small jar with ice cold asparagus bouillon,
tree tomato, pine nuts and a crisp cheese biscuit

Slices of home smoked Scottish salmon with luke warm flan of
asparagus, chopped chives and a small salad with a sauce of shallots

Spring salad with asparagus, terrine of cucumber and
coriander with Gandaham en cream of dill

Slowly braised loin of veal, marinated in clover honey,
rosemary and lavender, thin sliced and served with
compote of tomatoes and curry waffles

 Fillet of red mullet, baked on the skin, with crispy baked
asparagus and a salad with passion fruit dressing 

SOUP à €  6,50

 Cream soup of asparagus, flavoured with lemongrass, fennel
and chili peppers, served with a mousse of asparagus

Consommé of beef with fresh chopped
chervil and garlic croutons

MAIN COURSES à €  19,50

Baked fillet of John Dory with stir fried asparagus, broad beans and
beetroot, pie of potato and rucola and saffron butter

Asparagus à la Flamande; boiled asparagus with Roseval potatoes,
boiled egg, in bouillon prepared farmer's ham and butter sauce

Grilled and lightly pickled prok chop of free range porl (350 grams),
seasonal vegetables, French fries and red wine butter

Roasted lamb chops with herb crust, asparagus, sugar snaps,
couscous with garden herbs and sauce of wild thyme

 CHEESE & DESSERTS à €  7,00 

Cheese platter with biological raisin–fig bread,
apple syrup and celery branches

Lightly sugared fresh strawberries with vailla sauce and lime sorbet ice

Palette of sorbet ice cream, whipped cream,
sugared peanuts and slivered shavings

Apricot pie with sorbet of raspberries,
warm chcolate sauce and whipped cream

van der Putten situated opposite of hotel Willibrordhaeghe
